Dr Ross Littlewood retired from clinical practice as an ophthalmologist in January 2022. He is now engaged in regenerative farming at a family property near Toodyay, Western Australia.
His interests now include philosophy, landcare and apiarist meetings. Although he no longer attends ophthalmology meetings, he retains fond memories of former patients and colleagues, from whom he learned so much.
In 2024, Ross experienced cataract surgery from the patient’s side and kept a diary of adapting to monovision. That experience informs the reflective, practical tone of this website.
